Summer 2010 Concert
Everyone's Spirit was in Full Swing at the Maple Grove Summer Outdoor Concert. The music was performed by the Lew Picardi Big Band playing America's Classic Swing repertoire which included Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, Glen Miller, and a tribute to Vincent Youmans, Jimmy Rushing, LaVerne Baker, and other musical talents of Maple Grove. The concert was produced by the Friends of Maple Grove, Inc. and Super Nova Productions, and was made possible in part by The Queens Council on the Arts with public funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and a Grant from the Josephine Foundation.
