SPIRITS ALIVE! A Walking Tour Through Time Saturday, October 6, 2012 2:00 - 4:00 PM

The Friends of Maple Grove presented a self guided walking tour through time. Spirits Alive! 2012 had a cast of twenty volunteer actors dressed in period costumes who portrayed some of Maple Grove's most illustrious and historical figures from the past. Over 400 people attended which made this an incredible event. Spirits Alive! 2012 is the highlight event at Maple Grove during the Open House NY Weekend which was a HUGE success! Later that evening the Spirits Alive at Twilight Concert took place at 6:30 PM and was a tribute to the Musical Treasures at Maple Grove like Theresa Merritt, Jimmy Rushing, Vincent Youmans, La Verne Baker, and Shannon Tavarez. The songs performed all had a connection to our Musical Treasures and over 130 people attended.

The last event of the Open House New York weekend took place on Sunday, October 7, 2012 with two Maple Grove Walking Tours.
