HERENCIA! Celebrating a family legacy of musical excellence.

Honoring the tradition of musical excellence and ministries set by brothers Carlos D. Prescod and Roy A. Prescod.  The event will be held in the Maple Grove Celebration Hall, Kew Gardens, on February 7, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The concert will highlight the brothers' achievements in education, ministry, and music, as well as their Afro-Panamanian roots, with performances by those whose lives they touched.

The Foundation’s mission is “To build a lasting legacy of artistic and academic excellence embodied in ministry to the community and the cultivation of cultural connections throughout the African Diaspora.” Presented by the Prescod Legacy Foundation and sponsored by the Friends of Maple Grove, February 7th hosts an afternoon of Music, Culture, and Community!
