Maple Grove Cemetery's Day of the Dead is a month-long event of healing. A day of remembrance for our departed loved ones. It is a cultural and deeply spiritual communion with the departed. Deeply rooted in indigenous traditions and beliefs and held with cultural sensitivity and respect. Opened on October 31st and available throughout the month of November, Maple Grove's Ofrenda (offerings) altar honors departed loved ones. Please bring a small photograph or personal note to our community ofrenda, which is decorated with artwork, candles, flowers, and food! On November 1st, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, we will have a mariachi band and dancers perform to celebrate Día de Los Muertos, enjoying traditional Mexican food available from an on-site food vendor!
