Enjoy an afternoon of music in the Indo-Pakistani tradition featuring compositions by Dr. Parwez and others, accompanied by Tapan Modak on tabla and Sajib Modak on digital percussion and tabla. Dr. Parwez will also share the history of the instruments and musical forms. Born in Pakistan to a musical and artistic family, he is an award-winning composer, singer, and teacher whose work has been performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.
