Queens Symphony Brass Quintet Concert

This concert was to honor World War I veterans buried at Maple Grove Cemetery. This is part of our year long celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I (1918 - 2018).

Thank you to the Queens Symphony Orchestra for sending this wonderful group of musicians who performed at this concert. They played a set of music from the World War I Era.

Everything was set up by Bonnie Dixon and her staff. Maria and Giovanni came by early to help with the refreshment and to man the table etc. Helen and Celeste came by to help and stayed for both events. Steven also came and helped throughout the night and it made the clean up a lot faster.

Jo Anne came again and took the pictures for both events. See attached.

The concert program was wonderful and the music selected was excellent and enjoyed by all.

The concert was followed by a nice reception of wine and cheese.
