· Pacific Concert and Art Exhibit – Saturday June 15 - The Pacific Concert was the last concert of the season from 4 PM to 6 PM and it was INCREDIBLE!!!! We had over 90 people in attendance and Mariel sang her heart out and Naoko played the piano beautifully.

The audience loved Mariel and had a marvelous time!!!! She sang a special song for Sky who passed away on May 28. Utsab taped the event. The art exhibit that followed was a MAJOR success with many happy artists and photographers. There was an Opening Reception for our newest Art Exhibit featuring photographs by the late Harvey Shaman, photographer, author, teacher and Kew Gardens resident who is buried at Maple Grove; photographs of Forest Hills by Cheryl Cuddeback; artwork by Kew Gardens Resident Eric Scott Horn and some of the Framed Jewelry Art created at 15 workshops at Maple Grove! He has the two large paintings on easels. Diana Shaman, the wife of Harvey Shaman the photographer was beaming and was there with her son and his children. Savina brought Lemon Bars and Brownies! WOW what a hit!!!!
