After the Virtual Day of Remembrance on Sept. 17th our very own Friends President, Carl Ballenas wrote a beautiful article about the event. Today we are so proud to share with all of you that this article was chosen for the front page the Broadcaster's Fall edition from the NYS Assoc. of Cemeteries. With permission we are pleased to share this article with you all. The photo you see on the front page is of the late President ( and founding member) of the Richmond Hill Historical Society, Nancy Cataldi (1953-2008) who is cared for at Maple Grove. Nancy also helped by contributing historical research and events at Maple Grove.
