Our 1st Virtual Concert!

Updated: May 16, 2020

Greetings!

Saturday, April 18th, 2020 Friends of Maple Grove was proud to announce our inaugural remote concert to be enjoyed from the safety and comfort of your home. This beautiful one hour concert was put together by returning Pianist Matthew Graybil and Violinist Rhiannon Banerdt.

Before the concert began the follow message was read:

Welcome Friends!

I am delighted to invite you to our first virtual concert sponsored by the Friends of Maple Grove featuring the very talented Matthew Graybil and Rhiannon Banerdt. We had planned a wonderful series of programs, events, and concert for the spring 2020 season. In consideration of your safety and well-being we had to post-phone all activities for the time being. We will be back!

We will pull through this together with acts of kindness. We have all heard about the major sacrifices being made by many in the medical field, who are helping who are suffering today. The Friends of Maple Grove showed our appreciation by providing lunch for these heroes at the Queens Hospital Center last week. A small gesture to say Thank You!

Through our programs we have made Maple Grove a new cultural center. We are adapting and will be creating more online programs in the future. Please check out our website Friendsofmaplegrove.org and Facebook site for updates.

Enjoy this wonderful concert

On behalf of myself and the Board of Directors we send our best wishes and ask that you be safe.

With Deep Appreciation,

Carl Ballenas

President of the Friends of Maple Grove

ENJOY AT YOUR LEISURE!
